Quality Certification

All the coffee we sell is quality-certified from the world's highest certification boards.
The different certifications aim to standardize and protect a set of agreed-upon procedures to ensure the production of the best coffee beans possible, while respecting the land through sustainable farming methods.

The Brazil Specialty Coffee Association is one of the most respected certifications in the Brazilian coffee world.    All the coffee certified by the BSCA comes with a QR code tag that tells you the story of those beans; how and where they come from, how they were produced and the guarantee that they were produced in a sustainable operation.

The UTZ certification means that the coffee has been sourced, from seed to cup, in a sustainable manner.
UTZ certified coffee is grown by producers who have been trained to implement better farming practices, respecting people and the planet alike. Producers are regularly audited to ensure they comply with the sustainability standards of the UTZ program.

What Does “Rainforest Alliance Certified™” Mean?

Our little green frog really gets around--and that’s good news for people and the planet. These days, you can find the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal on a rapidly growing list of products and services, including coffee, chocolate, tea, fruit, flowers, paper, furniture and tourism lodges.

Products bearing the seal originate on--or contain ingredients sourced from--Rainforest Alliance Certified farms or forests. These farms and forests are managed according to rigorous environmental, social and economic criteria designed to conserve wildlife; safeguard soils and waterways; protect workers, their families and local communities; and increase livelihoods. Tourism businesses that feature the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal meet the Rainforest Alliance comprehensive sustainability standards for tourism.
